  • The schedule for Ambassador interviews was emailed to you over the weekend. Please be sure to check your time, be early, and dress appropriately for the interview. Any questions, please see Mr. Steben.

  • Attention Freshmen: Be sure to turn in your permission slip for tomorrow's field trip and bring in your food donation. You should arrive at school at the usual time and meet in the Perino Science Center. Regular dress code with Dennis uniforms. You will not be allowed to go to your locker after 7:50 a.m. If you have questions see Fr. Dominic.

  • Tomorrow is the SAT for all juniors!  Seniors are excused for a college visit day, Soph will work on assignments at home. Freshmen will attend a field trip with Fr Dom. The test begins at 7:50 am. NO ONE will be allowed to go to their lockers after 7:50 am.  Freshman if you need something from your locker you need to take it home with you tonight.

  • Juniors: Please be in your seat ready to test at 7:50 am. All teachers have a list of room assignments to share and a list is posted on the counseling office door. Check the list TODAY! This is a regular Dennis uniform dress day. You will be dismissed at approximately 12 noon. Remember to be very quiet during breaks and after the test because other students may still be testing. There are no afternoon classes.  Go to bed early tonight and eat a good breakfast in the morning so you can perform your best on the test!

    • Bring the following items:

      • Your fully charged Chromebook with Bluebook installed (if your Chromebook does not hold a charge for at least 3 hours please see Mr. Hancock TODAY to borrow one).

      • Chromebook charging cord (there will be a very limited number of charging stations available in each room).

      • Approved Calculator - optional (TI-84 or 4-function calculator, a desmos calculator will be available in the Bluebook testing app.)

      • Pen or pencil - Scratch paper will be provided. Students are not allowed to bring their own scratch paper.

      • Photo ID - school ID, DL or state ID                                                   

      • Snack and drink to be consumed during break time only.

  • Congrats to the Boys and Girls track team for their effort Saturday at the Rollie Morris Invitational. The Boys were led by Greyson Marincic's 3rd place in the 300 hurdles, and 7th place finishes from Max Bray in the shot put and Wil Sramek in the discus. For the Girls they were led by Lily Bosnich's 3 wins in the 100m High Hurdles, 300 IM hurdles, and the 200 meters dash. Also, there were 4th place finishes in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays of Sierah Shaver, Grace Millington, Mackenzie Stanbary and Emerald De La Torre. and 5th & 6th places in the Disc for Macklin Brady and 5th place in the 400 for Maggie Arkins.

  • Congrats to the softball and baseball teams for both beating Dwight for conference wins.

  • Congrats to the boys and girls track team for their performances Monday. The boys were at Putnam County where Greyson Marincic won the 100meter and 300meter hurdles. Max Bray was second in the 100m and 4th in the shot and disc. Eric Du finished second in the mile. For the ladies who were at BV and finished 6th as a team they were led by Lily Bosnich who won the 200meter the 300 hurdles and the 100 high hurdles. Her time in the hurdles was a new St. Bede ladies school record! Maggie Arkins was 2nd in the 400 and ran on the 6th place 4 by 400 relay with Emerald De La Torre, Mackenzie Stanbary and Sara Ruiz. Emerald was also 5th in the 100 meter dash as was Macklin Brady in the Discus. 

  • A huge congratulations to our WYSE Team for their 4th place finish in state in the fields of science and engineering! Highlighted performances include Gordon Chen finishing 1st in the state for Math and 2nd in state for chemistry, Amie Tomaszewski and Daliayah Farris tied for 4th in engineering graphics, and Yigit Arslan earning 4th in computer science. Congrats to the team and Coach Fitz on an outstanding season!

  • Freshman: The PSAT test is Tuesday.  Be in the gym at your seat ready to test by 7:50 am. Bring your fully charged Chromebook and charging cord, pen or pencil, approved calculator (or you can use the desmos calculator provided in the testing  app), a photo ID (this can be your school ID or driver’s license), snack and drink. All other items, including backpacks, cell phones and smartwatches should be left in your locker.  This is a regular Dennis unform dress day. You will return to lunch and your regular afternoon classes after the test. Be sure to go to bed early and eat a good breakfast so you can perform your best on the test!   • It was a good night at Sterling for the St. Bede track teams. Lily Bosnich won the Long Jump and was second in the 60meters, 60 meter hurdles, and 200 meters. Maggie Arkins won the 800 meter run, Emerald De La Torre was 3rd in the 60 meters and part of the 4x200 meter relay along with Siearah Shaver, Grace Millington, Ashlyn Ehm that finished 5th. For the guys Marco Rizzi was second in the Long Jump, Greyson Marincic was third in the Long jump and was part of the 5th place 4x200 meter relay along with Sean Brayton, Willy Sramek, and Jack Maschmann.

Up to 4 students will be selected.  This award is renewable for up to five years.  See your email or the scholarship list. The Michael J. Lyons Scholarship is due April 1st to Ms. Bernabei. Both of these scholarships are only available to SBA students. There are a lot of scholarship deadlines approaching fast!  Check the scholarship list.
