  • SAT Word of the Day:

    • complement – v. add to or make complete

      • The chef added garlic to COMPLEMENT the steak’s flavor.

  • Juniors: You will be dismissed to go home after the SAT. You will not have afternoon classes.  Lunch will not be served. This was printed incorrectly on the green handout you received yesterday.

  • Coloring Club tomorrow after school in the PSC.

  • Eid Mubarak! The Heritage Club would like to acknowledge the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid al-Fitr. The month-long fasting from dawn to dusk is over, and Eid al-Fitr marks a time for Muslims around the world to pray, celebrate, and give charity. 

  • Friday is a jeans day. Please bring your $3.00 to support the boys/girls track teams.  Remember – no hooded or crop-top sweatshirts or tank tops are allowed and jeans must be in good repair, no holes or rips.

  • Prom tickets will be on sale tomorrow, Friday, and Monday during lunch. Juniors and seniors, check your email for all information. Questions, see Mrs. Nambo.

  • Congrats to the softball and baseball teams for both beating Dwight for conference wins.

  • Congrats to the boys and girls track team for their performances Monday. The boys were at Putnam County where Greyson Marincic won the 100meter and 300meter hurdles. Max Bray was second in the 100m and 4th in the shot and disc. Eric Du finished second in the mile. For the ladies who were at BV and finished 6th as a team they were led by Lily Bosnich who won the 200meter the 300 hurdles and the 100 high hurdles. Her time in the hurdles was a new St. Bede ladies school record! Maggie Arkins was 2nd in the 400 and ran on the 6th place 4 by 400 relay with Emerald De La Torre, Mackenzie Stanbary and Sara Ruiz. Emerald was also 5th in the 100 meter dash as was Macklin Brady in the Discus. 

  • A huge congratulations to our WYSE Team for their 4th place finish in state in the fields of science and engineering! Highlighted performances include Gordon Chen finishing 1st in the state for Math and 2nd in state for chemistry, Amie Tomaszewski and Daliayah Farris tied for 4th in engineering graphics, and Yigit Arslan earning 4th in computer science. Congrats to the team and Coach Fitz on an outstanding season!
