  • Girls' TEC coming up the 2nd weekend of April.  If you want more information or an application, see Fr. Ronald.

  • Please keep our seniors in your prayers.  They will be on retreat on Monday and Tuesday.

  • The spring musical Disney’s The Little Mermaid will be performed this weekend! Show times are Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2:00.  Tickets for SBA students & staff are free.  All other tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for non-SBA students.  Come experience the undersea magic and support your classmates! Break a leg cast and crew!

  • Sophomores: if you have finished your Ambassador application, you can turn those in to Mr. Steben any time. Applications must be submitted by next Tuesday, March 26 by the end of the day. No late applications will be accepted! Questions, see Mr. Steben.

  • Congratulations to Mr. McLaughlin, Mrs. Nambo and Mrs. Theisinger. Last night they each received the prestigious 40 Under Forty award presented by the Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce. This award is about celebrating the next generation of difference makers across the Illinois Valley. Congratulations on this impressive achievement!

  • Seniors, you are required to send your transcript and SAT scores to IVCC BEFORE your placement test and FCR appointment. Place an order in Parchment at least 1 week in advance to ensure that they are received on time.

  • Congratulations to the freshman for having perfect attendance and excellent behavior & cooperation on Tuesday for the PSAT 8/9!  You’ll receive info about how to access your scores when they become available in 4-6 weeks.

  • Congrats to the softball and baseball teams for their big wins over Midland. Baseball won 10-9, and softball cruised to a 17-0 victory. Hum Bruins!

  • Bruins Rocked their Socks! The St. Benedict’s Annual Day of Giving exceeded the goal of $170,000. A huge thank you to the staff and students for supporting the campaign. A special thank you to Abbot Michael, Fr. Ron, Sam Bima, Ali Bosnich, Rubi Delatorre, Ella Englehaupt, Phill Gray, Tyler Jordan, Sadie Koehler, Jeanna Ladzinski, Zach Popurella, Logan Potthoff, Ryan Slingsby and Emma Smudzinski. Your participation in the phone-a-thon made a real difference and made a positive impact with our alumni. For those students named, please stop by the Development Office.
