Forms of Tuition Assistance

Saint Bede Academy believes no student should be denied a Catholic education because of the lack of funds. Approximately 35% of our students receive some form of tuition assistance. All students, incoming freshmen through seniors, are eligible for tuition assistance. Assistance is awarded on the basis of need. Students that qualify for assistance are required to participate in our work-study program. Work-study positions range from working in the concession stand at football games to helping in a school office during study hall.

Financial assistance is available through the following services:

Work-Study Tuition Assistance Program
35-40% of the students presently enrolled at the Academy take advantage of this program. This program is presently providing eligible students with over $200,000 of subsidized tuition annually. Students receiving grant awards are assigned part-time jobs on campus during the school year or summer. To determine eligibility, parents must complete an Application for Tuition Assistance and a Parent's Financial Statement. A standardized evaluation procedure, adopted by colleges and private schools, is then used to evaluate the application.  All information is held in strict confidence. Tuition assistance forms are available in January at the test score and class selection meetings. Tuition assistance application deadline is April 15th. Parents are notified about the grant awards during the month of June. Application for admission to the Academy must be complete before the tuition assistance is considered.

Tuition assistance applications are available at class selection meetings or by calling the Admissions Department at 815-250-0279.

All FACTS tuition assistance forms are due by April 15 every year. Fill yours out here.
