  • SAT Word of the Day:

      • The shy freshman’s performance at the variety show INSTIGATED a roar of applause from the audience.

  • The variety show will begin at 7:30 tonight.  The doors to the gym will open at 7pm.  Come out and support your friends after the parade and cook out!  The concession stand will be open before and at intermission for water/soda & candy.

  • Thank you to all who brought food yesterday.  Soon the food will go to the Food Pantry.  So, if you want to assist our hungry sisters and brothers, you can still bring food.

  • Those who met with Fr. Ronald about a trip to Kentucky and Ohio, please check your e-mail for more information.

  • Detention will meet today in Room 211 from 2:10-2:55pm.

  • Alex Ankiewicz, Ali Bosnich, Ella Hermes, Logan Potthoff, Sierah Shaver, Katherine Zeller Please return your signed Rotary permission form ASAP!

  • Mrs. Yaklich is looking for students during study hall to help assemble packets for homecoming. Stop by the development office to help out.

  • Attention female athletes: Please note that the girls locker room will be closed tomorrow morning for homecoming game preparations. After school today, please make sure to remove any items you may need for tomorrow.

  • Seniors in the IVCC English class need to come to Mrs. Rynkewicz's room 204 for a permission slip for the Illinois Holocaust Museum trip. The trip is November 7th.

  • Mr. Makransky is offering 4 service hours for anyone who signs up to help with the annual Jim Lattin 5K race on Homecoming weekend. The race is Saturday morning, September 30th. Fliers in the main office and the gym.

  • There will be a College Information Night held in the Perino Science Center on Wednesday, October 4th between 6:30 – 8:00 PM.  All students and their parents are invited to attend.  RSVP to Mrs. Bernabei.
