Homecoming Week is underway! Come out and watch the junior and senior girls face off in powderpuff tonight at 6:30pm!
Seniors in the IVCC English class need to come to Mrs. Rynkewicz's room 204 for a permission slip for the Illinois Holocaust Museum trip. The trip is November 7th.
At our Homecoming prayer service, TOMORROW, all are asked to bring in a food item. Let's help give a bit of stability to the unstable lives of our hungry sisters and brothers. You can bring what you wish, but suggested items: Seniors - Peanut Butter; Juniors - Pasta and Pasta Sauce; Sophomores - Canned Soup; Freshmen - Canned Vegetables; Faculty/Staff - Baby Food or Canned Fruit.
Mr. Makransky is offering 4 service hours for anyone who signs up to help with the annual Jim Lattin 5K race on Homecoming weekend. The race is Saturday morning, September 30th. Fliers in the main office and the gym.
There will be a Podcast Club meeting after school today in room 213.
There will be a College Information Night held in the Perino Science Center on Wednesday, October 4th between 6:30 – 8:00 PM. All students and their parents are invited to attend. RSVP to Mrs. Bernabei.
Variety Show rehearsal this week for Senior Skit, acts that Mrs. Griggs has not seen yet, or acts that would like more practice can come to the gym Wednesday immediately following powder puff football. If your act hasn’t been approved before Thursday, you will not be able to participate. Thursday’s dress rehearsal will begin at 7:30. Please be in the gym by 7:00 so you can look at the show order and be ready to start at 7:30 with MC introductions.
Congrats to the Cross-Country team for their performances yesterday at the TCC Conference Meet at Seneca. For the Guys Greyson Marincic was 8th making him All-Conference for 2023, Raudel Hermosillo was 15th and Eric Du 28th. For Ladies Sierah Shaver was 28th. Next race is Tuesday.
