❖ Any freshman interested in running for freshmen representative for SBASG see Miss Brady today for a petition. Elections will be held on Friday, 9/15.

❖ Habitat for Humanity is building a home in Peru. No carpentry skills necessary. Learn while working. Want to help? See Fr. Ronald.

❖ Stage Rats will meet today after school in the gym. Plenty of jobs to do, so wear something that you can work in.

❖ Softball players still need to sign up to help for a quarter during the football game Friday night. This is part of our fundraising obligations for our program. Please stop by Mrs. Griggs room and sign up outside of her classroom today!

❖ Congrats to the volleyball team on yesterday’s win over Kewanee. The next game is home, tomorrow, with sophomores at 5:30 and varsity at 6:30. Let’s pack the gym - see you there!

❖ Color and Chill Club is Back!! Join Mrs. Nambo & Ms. Bernabei in room 227 after school today and every Wednesday 2:45 - 3:45 pm to color away your stress, enjoy some tasty snacks and good company! Supplies will be provided but feel free to bring your own if you like! Everyone is welcome, artistic ability not required!

❖ Congrats to the Boys and Girls cross country teams for competing in yesterday's meet at Bureau Valley. For the girls, Sierah Shaver was 10th, and for the boy's Greyson Marincic was 11th and R.J. Hermosillo was 22nd. The next meet is this Saturday.

❖ Bruins, are you in need of "SERVICE Hours'? Today is your day ! "Feed His Children" is bagging up food to distribute to students throughout the county who are in need of the food we take for granted. Show up at Crossbridge Church today between 3:00 - 4:00 afterschool to help with the food and bag prep for our neighboring students. The mission is located in Downtown Peru , next to Debo's Hardware - enter through doors in back parking lot. See Mr. Davy in room 227 for details!

❖ The Father Marquette Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll drive is this Saturday & Sunday at the round-about-entry to Utica. Students will be positioned at the Casey's and Shell gas stations. Proceeds from the drive benefit our local Special Olympics' athletes, Horizon House, and Starved Rock Development - formally known as Easter Seals. Please go to Mr. Davy's room 227 to sign up for this wonderful cause.

❖ Check your emails! If you received a message from Mrs. Rapp, please plan to attend Thursday’s meeting during homeroom in the refectory.

❖ College Visitors this week during both lunches today: University of Illinois at Urbana - Champaign.

HOMEROOM MEETINGS

❖ If you are a football player or a cheerleader and are interested in visiting our local Catholic grade schools this Friday afternoon, please see Mr. Steben in the Loft now.
