God doesn't call the qualified.  He qualifies the called. So, if there is something that has been on your heart for a while, then maybe God is calling you. 

  • SAT Word of the Day: 

    • recalcitrant (re-KAL-sit-trent) – adj. having an obstinately uncooperative attitude toward authority or discipline.

      • The RECALCITRANT student refused to follow his teacher’s directions.

  • If interested in the Ski Outing, Winterfest in Lake Geneva or Polar Plunge get your name on sign-up sheets near Fr. Ronald's office.

  • Today during lunch is the last day to sign up for dodgeball on Wednesday, Jan 31.

  • Yearbook staff: there will be a cover meeting Tuesday 1/23 after school in Mrs. Griggs room to finalize cover.  The following Tuesday 1/30 we will be meeting with the cover artist to complete the design.  Please email Mrs. Griggs if you can attend.

  • Attention Track and field athletes! We will have our first meeting on Tuesday and 1:45 in the little theater! Anyone interested in competing this year please attend. Also, remember to sign up on our 8-to-18 online registration website. See Coach Makransky in room 208 if you have any questions.

  • Congratulations to our Super Smash Brothers eSports team: Noah Buck, Arthur van den Berg, and Julian Villava.  Last night Arthur and Julian played each other with Arthur winning 3 of the 5 matches.  Noah played against “deluxestar” from Roycemore High School in Evanston and won 3 out of 5 matches as well.

  • Congratulations to the Lady Bruins Basketball team on their 1st place finish in the Tri-County Conference tournament. Ali Bosnich, Ella Hermes, and Ashlyn Ehm were also named to the all-tournament team. Way to go!
