  • Honors Banquet is tonight! Doors open at 6:00 PM.

  •  SENIORS: Tomorrow is College T-Shirt Day!!! This is also a jeans day for Seniors!

  •  REMINDER FOR SENIORS: if you are not going to use all 6 of your graduation tickets please turn the remainder into the main office ASAP.

  • Senior Boys: Don’t forget to bring your $10 to the main office for the Senior Picnic.

  •  Lectio today during 2nd lunch in Mr. H's classroom for juniors and seniors.

  •  The Food Pantry let us know they are in need of cereal.  Bring in a box of your favorite cereal for the hungry kids of our area.

  •  Opportunity on Saturday to help with a tree planting conservation project.  Service hours given.  See Fr. Ronald for details.

  •  Peer tutoring will take place in room 225 after school until 3:30 for all interested students. We look forward to seeing you!

  •  Service project: Conservation and Reforestation project in Arlington. Be ready to work this coming Saturday - April 29th. See Father Ronald or Mr. Davy for details.

  • Want to show your support for St. Bede in your community? Yard signs are available for $7 per sign - what a steal! Order forms can be found outside Mr. Steben's office and are due by Friday, May 5th. 

  • Attention Boys Basketball:  Anyone who hasn't turned in their basketball uniform please do so in the coach's office, after school on Wednesday, April 26th.

  •  Any current junior representative in SBASG interested in running for a position on the executive board please see Miss Brady for a petition today. Petitions are due by the end of the day Friday, April 28th. 

  •  Next week, club yearbook pictures will be taken Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during homeroom.  Student government will be taken Tuesday during extended homeroom. Tea Club, E sports, and coloring club Monday, and heritage club and Last Supper Club Wednesday.

  •  Congratulations to the varsity softball team on winner last night vs. Sterling Newman.  Congrats to Maddy Dalton for hitting a 2-run homerun.  Also, congrats to the JV team on the big win against Erie-Prophetstown.  The JV team is looking for an extra player to play at an away game tomorrow, otherwise they will not have a full team.  If you have played softball before and can help out, please see Mr. Armato or Mrs. Griggs today.

  •  On Monday the Bruins Tennis team notched their first win of the season by taking down Mendota. With the Scoreboard showing the dual match tied at 2 - 2, after singles wins by George Guo and Michael Shaw, the two seniors teamed up in the final match of the night at #1 Doubles. After dropping the first set 4-6, the veterans made some adjustments and took the momentum along with the second set by a 6-3 score, which forced a 3rd set super tie-break. The Bruins rolled - claiming a 10-4 victory which clinched the match for Saint Bede. The boys are back home tomorrow for a 4:30 tilt verses Peoria Christian.

  •  Congratulations to the boys and girls track teams for their performances Monday at the BV Invite.

    For the Boys they were led by Tom Makransky winning the PV and 2nd in the Triple Jump. Greyson Marincic was 3rd in the 300 hurdles and Logan Pineda was 5th in the 800m. 

    For the Ladies – They were 3rd as a team and had 1st place finishes from Lily Bosnich who set a new school record in the 300 hurdles breaking a record set in 2016 by Zoe Postula, Anna Lopez who won the long and triple jumps, Macy Zeglis who won the 100 high hurdles, Macklin Brady who won the discus, Maggie Arkins who won the 800 meters and Jeanna Ladzinski in the Pole Vault. Also winning was the 4x1 with Lily, Anna, Sierah Shaver and Rubi De La Torre running and Lily, Anna, Sierah and Emerald De La Torre in the 4x200. Savanah Bray and Libby Huffaker were 2nd and 3rd in the shot put, and Summer Conlin and Ruby De La Torre were 4th and 5th in the 100m dash. It was Great day! Next meet is tomorrow at HOME.
