IVCC’s College and Career Fair Tues, Oct 10. 6:30-8:pm in the gym. Over 50 college, military and career representatives will be there. See your email for the registration link. Juniors & seniors are encouraged to attend.
A representative from University of Notre Dame will be at St. Bede Academy on October 10th period H and after school until 2:10. Sign up in your AP Chem, AP Physics, Eng III & IV Honors, AP Stats, AP Calc, PreCalc Honors classes or with Ms. Bernabei.
Soph & Jrs: don’t forget to plug in your Chromebook Tuesday night so your Chromebook is fully charged for test day on Wednesday.
Teachers: please complete your PSAT trainings and read the manuals before Tuesday.
Congratulations to Isabella Hagenbuch and Logan Potthoff! Isabella was nominated as this year’s DAR Good Citizen and Logan as the SAR Good Citizen. Thank you both for demonstrating the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in your home, school, and community to an outstanding degree. Mrs. Hurst would like to see you both in her office now.
The next Elks Teen of the Month application deadline is November 30th. Ms. Bernabei needs more applications from boys!
Wrestlers, managers, and those considering being a part of the wrestling program this season, please meet with Coach Allen in the weight room either during homeroom Thursday 10/5 or after school in the weight room Thursday 10/5. You do not have to be at both, but please make one of them.
Sophomores and Juniors will be taking the PSAT-NMSQT next week on Wed, Oct 11th. Freshman will be given assignments to work on at home, Seniors are excused to take a College Visit day. On test day students should bring a fully charged Chromebook and a power cord, pen or pencil and a Photo ID. You may bring an approved calculator, snack and drink if you choose. This is a regular Dennis uniform dress day. Testing will begin promptly at 7:50 am. Your teachers will share your room assignments. If you are not on the room assignment list see Ms. Bernabei asap. See your email for other important test day details.
All seniors going to the Illinois Holocaust Museum MUST turn in their permission slip and money today. We do not have school tomorrow. Bring the slip and money at the same time to Mrs. Rynkewicz's room.
