  • OurDonor of the Dayis Alfred Morandi. Mr. Morandi is a 1968 Golden Bedan graduate and travelled from Russiaville, IN to attend his 50threunion last year. We are blessed with his kindness and generous support for decades. Please keep him in a special prayer of thanks today.

  • SENIORS are to report to Mr Eustice’s H period classroom for an important meeting with Ms Bernabei this THURSDAY Mrs Manning’s period H seniors will have a presentation on Friday. 

  • Come out and support your BRUIN cheerleaders tonight at RIPS: Dine in or carry out tickets may be purchased at the door $10 each. There will be a bake sale as well. 

  • Food and drink must be consumed in the student commons or the refectory. Detention will start being issued. 

  • Picture retakes are Thursday September 26. Seniors your photos will be taken during your study halls, a sign-up sheet is in Mrs. Plankenhorn’s office. Underclassmen you will be dismissed by class throughout the morning. If you are getting a retake, you must return (to the photographer) your current photo package. If you missed the initial picture day, order forms may be picked up in the office or you may order online at hrimaging.com. 

  • Order your Homecoming T-shirts today and tomorrow during your lunch periods. Short sleeve T-shirts $13; Long sleeve T-shirts $15; Crewneck sweatshirts $20; Hoodies $22. 

  • Homecoming tickets will be on sale during lunch beginning today. The cost is $10 for one ticket and $20 for two tickets. 

  • If you are bringing a guest from another school to homecoming your completed guest request form needs to be turned into Mrs. Plankenhorn by Monday September 16. 

  • Last Supper Club on Wednesday at La Michoacana now called Los Jarritos in LaSalle. Sign-up sheet on Fr. Ronald’s door. 

  • Lectio tomorrow during 2nd lunch and Thuursday 1st and 2nd lunch. See display for your name and day. 

  • All girls on the Tennis team should be at Hegeler Park at 4:00 for the match against Peioria Christian today. 

  • Senior and Junior girls interested in participating in the powder puff game should stop by Mrs. Manning’s room to order their shirt. The cost is $10. No orders will be taken without payment. The deadline to order is Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 2:40 pm. So far only 9 shirts between both classes have been ordered. 

  • Reminder to Ambassadors of the meeting this Wednesday evening at 6:45 

  • There is a change in detention days and times starting this week. M, W, Th are regular 2:45-3:45, Tuesday’s will be 6:40 am- 7:40 am. There will be no detentions served on Friday’s.

  • The 4 volleyball players and 4 football players who are involved in a demonstration at mass this Thursday, see Fr. Ronald during home room today. 

  • All student government members will meet in Mrs. Manning’s room Tuesday during homeroom. Our new freshmen representatives are reminded to attend!
