Class of 1973 50th Reunion Information

Thursday, May 4th, 2022 – Special Legacy Lunch with the class of 1972 and 2022 & Senior Farewell Mass

Representatives of our class of ’72 had lunch and celebrated mass with the class of 2022 as they completed their education at Saint Bede.  Bill Twardowski delivered a thoughtful message of hope and encouragement based upon our collective experiences since graduating in 1972.

Homecoming 2022 – September 29th thru October 2nd

  • Friday (9/30 at 3:30pm) We will ask Fr. Ron will lead a prayer service for our deceased classmates. Please keep them and their loved ones in your prayers.  Link to Deceased 1972 Graduates

  • Friday Evening (9/30) – Dinner and cocktails at 6pm at The Uptown Grill at 601 First St. LaSalle. See the reservation form for more details.

  • Friday Evening – 9pm After hours get together at the Riverfront Bar and Grill, 1525 Water St Peru organized by the LPHS class of ‘72.

  • Saturday 11am (10/1) – We will start the morning off with tailgating before the varsity football game.  Our class will have a tent, seating and refreshments in the tailgate area. 

  • Saturday 1pm – Kickoff is scheduled for 1pm in the stadium.  As part of the halftime show the Golden Bedan Class of ’72 will be introduced and our Class Gift will be presented to Abbott Philip

  • Saturday 3pm - Following the game, BruinsJam is planned in the tailgate area.  This has proven to be a very popular event which you won’t want to miss.  Entertainment provided by musical groups with St. Bede Alumni.  Food, drink and fellowship provided by the class of ’72 at our designated tent.

  • Sunday 10am – Golden Bedan Induction Mass will be held at the Abby Church where you will receive your “Academy Brick” and afterwards be invited for a Bruin Brunch “spectacular” in the Refectory.

  • For those of you needing lodging for homecoming weekend we have arranged a favorable rate of $99/nite at the Holiday Inn Express at 5253 Trompeter Rd., Peru, IL 61354.  Phone 815-224-2500  To obtain the group rate for 9/30 & 10/1 ask for rate code SBR when booking your room
