Thank you again to everyone for your generosity and for helping make this year’s St. Benedict’s Day a resounding success!   • Seniors attending IVCC after graduation – Sign up for your First Year Counseling & Registration appointment at this link ASAP.  (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/stbede2026) You only have until Friday to do this! There are limited spots available. This will be an excused College Visit day and you will need to turn in a signed College Visit Request form. If you don’t sign up by Friday you may not get an appointment until summer. See Ms. Bernabei ASAP if you have questions. You must also apply to IVCC as a college student before your FCR meeting even if you have already taken classes as a dual credit student. Go to the IVCC website to apply today.

  • Any boys interested in playing tennis this spring: Mr. Davy will be having a meeting in the Perino Science Center on Friday during homeroom.

  • Scholastic Bowl this week: Thursday practice after school in the Art Studio, then head to Abbot Vincent Gymnasium to cheer on the Bruins to a Regional Championship. WHOOOO, go Bruins!!! Then Saturday is the Masonic Tournament in Princeton.

  • If you are interested in being involved with Illinois Valley Youth Little League this summer as an umpire, scorekeeper, or concession stand worker, please see Mrs. Theisinger in Room 102. There are paid and volunteer opportunities available!

  • Attention freshmen: all those interested in hosting an 8th grade shadow, please turn your request sheets in to Mr. Steben by the end of the day TODAY. If you do not turn in a sheet, you will not be considered to lead a student!

  • The Saint Bede softball team will be hosting the first fish fry of the season on Friday Feb. 20 from 4-9 pm at the Ladd Moose Club.  Come and support the team before heading to senior night and the last home varsity basketball game.  Tickets can be purchased from a softball player or at the door for $15.

  • All softball players please meet Mrs. Griggs after school Friday at 11:20 in her classroom for a quick meeting.
