St. Bede Academy has been providing quality Catholic education in North Central Illinois for over 116 years. While we pride ourselves in our rich history and tradition, we understand the ever-changing needs of students today. Our goal is to provide students with an education that will not only develop their minds, but also strengthen their character preparing them for life's challenges.

As a college preparatory school, we ensure our students will be ready to continue their education. Currently, 97% of our students attend some type of post-secondary schooling. Our A.C.T. scores this year ranked #1 in the surrounding area and each of the students in the Top Ten of the 2006 graduating class have maintained above a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. 15.2% of the senior class were selected as Illinois State Scholars and in addition, the valedictorian was also honored as a National Merit Scholarship finalist. An amazing 98% of St. Bede students participate in extra-curricular activities. Our objective is to keep students busy! Every experience is a life lesson. The more they do, the more they learn.
